Hello, I am 17 now and will be 18 when I finish high school. I am wanting to go get a job on a cruise ship in order to visit somewhere new, gain experience, network, and save money for University the year after. How would I go about getting hired? How much do you get payed for entry level jobs not requiring experience? I have been working in a 5-star restaurant as a cook for about 3 years. So that is the only field I have any real experience in. What is life like on a cruise ship? What are my chances as getting hired? How much money do you spend while on the ship? Is the money really tax free? Also I hold Canadian and French Citizenship and hold passports for both, and speak both languages. The most important thing for me is how much is reasonable to be able to save if i work for 8 months or so?
